Mary “Bette” Howard of Payson was born June 10, 1940 in Rock Springs, Wyo. to Alfred Garetto and Jeffie King and died Nov. 1, 2010 in Mesa.
She worked as a Realtor with Prudential Arizona Properties.
Her parents and husband, Robert Howard, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her daughters, Jeffie Myers, Bobbie Howard and Shirley Westra; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Dixon.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15 at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 919 E. Guadalupe Rd. in Gilbert.
