He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma; his sisters, Margaret Rosa, Elizabeth Wiggins, Marion Conway and Olive Creasey; and a brother, George Tainsh, all of Rhode Island.
Mr. Tainsh came to Arizona in 1946 and worked in maintenance in the Baltz School District for 27 years. He was a referee for high school football, an umpire for high school baseball and an avid golfer.
