Arthur Joseph Campeau
November 6, 1922 - May 1, 2011
Arthur Joseph Campeau, beloved husband and stepfather, peacefully left this earth on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the age of 88. He was born Nov. 6, 1922 in Bridgeport, Mich., where he lived a long and full life as a husband, father and grandfather. When in Michigan he was an avid golfer and hunter.

After he became a widower, he met and married the love of his life, Coleen in 1990. They lived in Payson for most of their marriage and he leaves behind many friends there.
Mr. Campeau’s passions turned to gardening and baking, which he shared with many. Mr. Campeau was actively involved in the Elks Club, the American Legion and the VFW while in Payson. He was a man of few words, always had a warm smile to offer and a cold beer.
Art and Coleen moved to Colorado in 2008 to be closer to her daughter until his death. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 4 at the Payson Elks Lodge.
Donations may be made to a favorite charity in Mr. Campeau’s name.
