John H. Clark, 94, of Payson, passed away on May 8.
Mr. Clark was a machinery and boiler inspector in Minneapolis after serving in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He loved fishing, camping in Canada and planting a garden each spring.
Mr. Clark was a volunteer with several Payson organizations and a member of Payson Masonic Lodge #70.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie, to whom he was married for 56 years; and his second wife, Janet, to whom he was married for five years.
He is survived by his sons, John and Tom; his daughter-in-law, Brenda; four grandchildren, Leslie, Tesha, Ginelle and Trevor; and three great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 12 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
