Paul Victor Kemmerer
1948 - 2011
Paul Victor Kemmerer (Uncle Pete) passed away May 14, 2011 at the Veterans Medical Rehab Center in Prescott.
He was the son of Ruby Kemmerer Kysar of Payson, Ariz. and the late Paul Tracy Kemmerer. He was born July 16, 1948 in Nowata, Okla.
Mr. Kemmerer received his education at Childers, Okla. and served in the U.S. Army with the Big Red #1 and was discharged in 1970.
He worked for Ruger Gun Company in Prescott, and had his own business.
Mr. Kemmerer is survived by his mother, Ruby Kemmerer Kysar of Payson; two sisters, Karen Scott of Payson and Rose Ann Kemmerer Gadd of Rochester, Wash.; five nieces and one nephew; two great-nieces, three great-nephews and many cousins, uncles and aunts of Oklahoma, Margaret Elliott, Lorene Brown, John Royer, Carl Royer, Don Royer, Marion Royer, Alvin Royer. Also surviving are many quad riding friends, especially Roy Carpenter of Payson.
He will be missed by all.
Mr. Kemmerer’s joy in life was hunting, fishing and riding his quads.
His viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 18 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home and his military graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 20 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery in Wickenburg.
