David W. Wallace

David W. Wallace, 80, born Aug. 15, 1931, passed from this earth to meet his Lord Nov. 20, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two children, Vicki (Bob) Jackson and Craig (Alana) Wallace; four grandchildren, Mitchell Jackson, Melinda Villasenor, Jared Wallace and Tori Punk; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Glenn Wallace; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Upon Mr. Wallace’s retirement from Salt River Project 17 years ago, he and wife Ruth moved to Rim Country from Page, Ariz., built a new home and settled into country living. The couple were active members of Mountain Bible Church and would have been married 50 years this coming May.
“Mr. Wallace was a generous man. If anyone had a need, he always tried to help or give what was needed,” writes his family.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets.
Mr. Wallace will be buried in the family plot in Sun City, Ariz. A private, family, graveside committal service will be held to honor his passing.
Following the holiday season, there will be memorial service Saturday, Jan. 7 at Mountain Bible Church.
