Armand Werle was born Nov. 6, 1920 in Oakland, Calif. and passed away April 18, 2012.
He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in engineering and served in the Army Air Corps as a pilot and was a city manager in many cities.
Mr. Werle had one brother, Robert, and one sister, Margaret.
He was married to Dorothy Werle and lived in Payson, Ariz. after he retired.
He was a golfer at Payson Golf Course, belonged to the Elks, enjoyed flowers and planting tomatoes.
He went on many cruises, loved to read books, worked on computers most of the time, enjoyed playing organ music and eating.
Mr. Werle is survived by his sister, Margaret Miller; his stepdaughter, Donna Smid and her family; and his adopted son, Perry Werle and his family.
“He was kind and loving and all of his friends and family will cherish their good memories of him. He will be missed,” writes his family.
