Jean Seymour, 72, of Payson, passed away peacefully with her husband at her side at Payson Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
She was born as a twin Feb. 7, 1940 in Racine, Wis. at the St. Luke’s Hospital, with her twin sister Joan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hakon and Virginia Danielsen; an infant son; her twin sister, Joan; and an older sister, Nancy.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph and four children, David, Cathy, Robert and Raymond. The family has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her older sister, Marilyn, still resides in California.
Mrs. Seymour married her high school sweetheart, Ralph, and they enjoyed 53 years together.
Mrs. Seymour was a member of the Women of the Moose in Star Valley and served as secretary there for five years. She was also an American Legion Auxiliary member in Payson.
She enjoyed dancing, especially two stepping with her husband and was quite good at it.
The family moved to Arizona from Racine, Wis. in the late ’70s. They worked in Phoenix at American Express (Jean) and Revlon (Ralph) for 15 years and then built a home in Payson. They retired there in 1995 until the present time and Ralph still lives in Star Valley.
Private services will be held at a later date.
