EvaLee Savoy Gailey, 90, of Boulder, Utah, passed away Jan. 14, 2013 at her home in Boulder. She was born Nov. 12, 1922 in Phoenix, to Marshall Duroc and Nellie Byrd Banks Savoy.
She married Keith LeGrand Gailey Oct. 1, 1940 in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in Manti Temple.
Mrs. Gailey was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities. She especially enjoyed playing the piano and organ for various meetings and gatherings.
Her husband operated Guarantee Insurance in Payson for several years.
She worked with her husband in his insurance office as his senior assistant for many years.
She was also an artist and looked forward to her next painting.
Survived by her husband; children, Catherine Sue Inman of Boulder, Utah, Kenneth Allen (Helen) Gailey of Tucson, Ellen Marie (Kenneth) Macnab of Provo, Utah and Grant Lawrence (Linda) Gailey of Oregon; 17 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Nancy Savoy of Phoenix.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21 in the Boulder LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Boulder Cemetery.
