Rondee Dalgleish, 69, of Payson, formerly of Phoenix, Ariz. died peacefully in her sleep on June 19, 2013 at Hospice Compassus in Payson.
Born Jan. 8, 1944 in Wausau, Ind., she is predeceased by her mother, Edith Classen.
Mrs. Dalgleish served the Payson community by working for many years at the Payson Senior Center where she coordinated many activities and enjoyed the many friendships that developed in her tenure there. Prior to working at the Senior Center she worked at the Rim Country Chamber of Commerce. She also served as Queen Mum of a Payson chapter of the Red Hat Society where she oversaw an active chapter.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, James Dalgleish; her sons, Kevin Maxwell, Kurt Maxwell and Kraig Maxwell; her stepson, Ken Dalgleish and his wife Patty Dalgleish; her stepdaughter, Stacy Fentress and her husband Travis Fentress; and her grandchildren, Kylie and Joelle Dalgleish of Atlanta, Ga., and Taylor and Tyler Fentress of Gilbert; as well as her beloved dog, Louie.
Public services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 901 S. Westerly Road. A celebration of life is to be held immediately following at the Payson Senior Center, 514 W. Main St.
