Kenneth C. Williams

1935 - 2013

Kenneth C. Williams went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2013 at his home in Deer Creek, Ariz. He was born Jan. 14, 1935 in Havana, Ill. to Lloyd and Alice Williams. He graduated from Astoria High School, served three years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, and later received a degree from Western Illinois University in 1961. Kenneth married Mary Burnett in 1955.
He is survived by four children, Kenneth B. (Jean) Williams of Gilbert, Ariz., Ronald Williams of Champaign, Ill., Mark Williams of Queen Creek, Ariz., Michele (Michael) Huls of Ashburn, Va.; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Jeannett (Robert) Hulvey of Canton, Ill., and a brother, Larry (Kathleen) Williams of Ozark, Mo.; and a very special family friend, Babs Curless of Vacaville, Calif.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service is planned for Nov. 16 at Murphy Sedgewick Memorial Home, Canton, Ill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rim Country Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 305, Payson, AZ 85547 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718
