Information on Payson Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc.
Update this information

A Christian ecumenical non-profit 501(c)3 organization (Tax I.D. 86-0818407) whose mission is to provide decent, affordable and healthy houses to those in need. Twelve houses have been completed since 1996 - House #13 is being constructed at 407 S Tonto St. in Payson. Over 85 local businesses, tradesmen and organizations contribute materials, labor or in-kind services toward the building of each house. Additionally, over 120 individuals volunteer their time. PAHH relies on generous donations from individuals, churches, businesses and organizations in and around the Payson community, various trusts, grants, and proceeds from fund-raisers. PAHH is registered with the State of AZ - donors who qualify may receive up to a $300 State Tax Credit (ARS 43-1088). Homeowners make a monthly no-interest mortgage payment; these monies are plowed back into a fund to build more houses.
