The Payson High School basketball team celebrated its regional
championship Friday evening in Wilson Dome. By beating Show Low,
56-45, the Longhorns guaranteed themselves a co-championship with
Snowflake. In a coin toss held Monday in Show Low, the Horns were
awarded the first seed into the regional tournament. Snowflake --
the loser of the toss -- fell to second.
