Fresh from a stellar showing at a Mesa track and field meet, the
Northern Gila County Special Olympic team travels May 6 through May
8 to Arizona State University in Tempe. There, the team will
compete in the state Special Olympics finals. In Mesa, the team won
almost 40 medals.
