Two early teachers in Pine, Isabelle Hunt and Velma Fuller, brought
a quality of life to their neighbors by sharing treasured books.
Eventually, these women and others created a small library in Pine
-- in this tiny batten board structure, originally designed as a
tourist cabin. The Pine-Strawberry Historical Society, with the
help of other organizations and residents, have restored the
building and furnished it, creating a new addition to the Randall
Park in Pine, adjacent to The Randall House on Highway 87. The
Isabelle Hunt Memorial Library was dedicated May 29.
