Ashton Shewey, a 2004 graduate of Payson High School, was recently
drafted by the Cleveland Indians. A left-handed pitcher, Shewey has
opted not to sign with Cleveland, but rather play next season for
Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The Indians own his rights
until the 2005 draft.
