Thomas B. Russell and granddaughter. Thomas was a member of the
Knights of Pythias, thus the uniform. Thomas and his family arrived
in Globe, Ariz. prior to 1897. He is the grandfather of Belle
Russell Lovelady, Payson's first telephone operator and the
second-great-grandfather of Jinx Pyle.
