Diamond Star firefighter Matt Highstreet holds the department's new
thermal imaging camera purchased after two years of fund-raising by
employees and members of the auxiliary. Diamond Star Fire Chief
Gary Hatch said the $10,000 camera will save lives and cut response
time to victims by one-third.
