Lightning in the Rim Country skies during the summer is a
magnificent sight, but it also carries potential danger -- creating
forest fires and striking the foolhardy who don't take shelter when
a storm comes up. Statistics show that a storm might be 30 miles
away and still cause lightning strikes in your area.
