Almost a year after Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, people who have the
financial means have repaired their homes. Yet bits and pieces of
what was once a lawn chair or the shredded remnants of curtains and
less recognizable debris hang from trees in other neighborhoods.
"It is so sad to see," said Wilma Dalby who helped in mid-July with
relief efforts in Mississippi.
