One of the great traditions of the World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo
in Payson is seeing old friends and catching up on their news. The
faces may not belong to the various aunts and uncles and assorted
cousins of the rodeo's early days, but the cowboys, arena workers
and others are another kind of family and enjoy getting together at
the "August Doin's" just as much as the Rim Country pioneers did in
the past.
