A guided tour of the Tonto National Monument Upper Ruins takes place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5. The tour includes a three-mile roundtrip hike, with an elevation gain of 600 feet and will take approximately three hours. Cost to participate is $15 per person. Limited transportation will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional fee of $5 per person. Participants will need to bring packed lunches, and space is limited, so register now by calling the Payson Parks and Recreation Department at 474-5242, ext. 358.
