Michelle Daniels (14) and Rose Hardt (3) soar above the net to block a Fountain Hills’ spike attempt during the first round of the state 3A volleyball tournament Friday at Bradshaw Mountain High School in Prescott Valley. The Lady Longhorns won their opening match against Fountain Hills in a tiebreaker before losing a five-game match to Tuba City later in the day.
