There were aisles and aisles of quilts for one to savor during the fourth annual Quilt Roundup, conducted Nov. 13 through Nov. 16 at Mazatzal Hotel and Casino’s exhibit hall. After only four years, the annual Rim Country Quilt Roundup is gaining national attention and visitors. This year’s four-day event had more classes, vendors and award-winning quilts and quilters. Alice Waldman and Lorraine Bright (bottom left photo) read the information sheet attached to this quilt as they take in all the different activities at the quilt roundup. Gail Stephen and her friend Alice Kutch (bottom right photo) watch as Charlotte Ann uses a Persian dye on fine lace that will be used as edging on a coat collar. Charlotte Ann was one of the many vendors at the fourth annual Quilt Roundup.
