The Gila County Republicans hosted a meet-and-greet gathering Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Northern Gila County headquarters, 1107 S. Beeline Highway. Participants included (from left) Charlotte Mortensen, chairman of the county’s Republican party; Barry Wong, candidate for Arizona Corporation Commission; Linda O’Dell, candidate for Gila County Superintendent of Schools; Barbara Brewer and incumbent Bill Konopnicki, candidates for Dist. 5 State Representative; Sydney Hay, candidate for U.S. Representative, Dist. 1; Tommie Martin, incumbent candidate for Gila County Supervisor, Dist. 1; Sylvia Allen, incumbent candidate for Dist. 5 Senate; and Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party. Entertainment was provided by Bruce Wales, Katie Rovetto and Jeff Loyd. Approximately 120 guests heard from the candidates.
