Put on your costume and come over to Trunk-or-Treat from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Halloween night, Oct. 31 at the North Rumsey parking lot on North McLane Road. This event provides kids with a safe place to enjoy music and candy distributed from local groups, businesses and families. Kids can have their fortune told by a fortune teller and trunk participants will be judged for the best decorated trunk. Admission is free, and all the candy will be provided by the Parks and Recreation Department. Parking is available in all the Rumsey lots around the park, except near the north multipurpose field where the event takes place. For more information, call 474-5242, ext. 272.
