Mike Lopez, who supervises the Apache trout recovery program in
Pinetop for the Arizona Game and Fish Department, lays his fly line
down on Silver Creek just outside of Show Low. The insect-loving
Apache trout have been reintroduced in 27 streams, which are
stocked to create a unique fishing opportunity.
