Adele Shreckengost (1929-2008) Adele A. Shreckengost, born April 4, 1929 in Crown Point, Ind. died Sept. 24, 2008 in Payson, AZ. Mrs. Shreckengost was married on Dec. 31, 1950 to Donald E. Shreckengost, who lives in Payson. She attended Butler University and Valparaiso University and she worked as a medical secretary and business manager for 40 yrs. Mrs. Shreckengost is survived by her husband, Donald; brother, Kenneth Homeir of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Mrs. Shreckengost was a member of Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson, Ariz., where there will be a memorial service at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 29, 2008.
