Once again the Payson High School building trades class has constructed a special piece of furniture for the auction at the annual Pioneer Dinner. The gun cabinet will be auctioned at the dinner, which starts at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Tonto Apache Tribal Recreation Center (gym). On hand to accept the gift was one of the dinner organizers Ronnie McDaniel, at left. Making the presentation were, Landen Johnson, Thad Hauger, Jake Staab and Richard Alvarez, building trades class instructor. Helping with the project, but not pictured were Schaffer Keith and Blake Iverson. Funds raised by the auction, the dinner and its various activities are contributed to such youth-oriented projects as FFA and 4H.
