He was part of Payson’s own version of American Idol, a new addition to rodeo week. Hilton, in the band Angry Caucasians, ended up in a rock off with his dad, Dean, from the band, In It to Win It.

The Rim Country Museum in Green Valley Park has this prize-winning Rodeo Quilt by Louise Bossert on display as a special tribute to the 125th Annual World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo. Stop by the museum sometime during the rodeo festivities and check out the quilt and other artifacts from Rim Country history and pick up a book about the area or a souvenir in the gift shop.
