Churches throughout the Rim Country are planning special services for the Christmas season. This Sunday, Mount Cross Lutheran Church will have its Christmas Cantata at 8:30 a.m. and a sermon and song service at 10:30 a.m. It will have candlelight services at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., Christmas Eve. Ponderosa Baptist Church has a special light display, “Journey to Bethlehem,” each evening, and on weekends it is enhanced with live music. The church will have a special concert at 6 p.m., Christmas Eve. Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church will have a candlelight service at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m. Calvary Chapel’s Christmas Eve service is at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 24. First Baptist Church in Pine will have two candlelight services on Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Look for more Christmas services in Tuesday’s Roundup.
