Several of Rim Country’s finest were honored Feb. 18 at the 10th annual Public Safety Awards Banquet. The Rim Country Rotary Club of Payson held the event at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino banquet room to honor all of the police, firefighters and dispatchers from the Town of Payson. The naming of the police officer, firefighter and dispatcher of the year highlighted the event. Participating in the program were (from the left) Police Chief Don Engler, Dispatcher of the Year Alison Murphy, Rim Country Rotary President Curtis Johnson, Fireman of the Year Bob Lockhart, Policeman of the Year Todd Bramlet and Fire Chief Marty deMasi.
