Longhorn football practices get under way after school on Aug. 3. The volleyball team also begins practice on that date, but the other fall sports at PHS cannot begin practicing until Aug. 10.
Barrel racing action will be fast and furious at the Gracie Lee Haught Memorial Aug. 7 at the Payson Event Center. The following two days, team roping will heat up PEC. All proceeds benefit the Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Fund.

Look for the Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund Lemonade Stands from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1. “Kids Standing For Kids” will feature 25 lemonade stands run by youngsters located at different sites around Payson, Pine and Star Valley. The lemonade will be sold for donations only. All proceeds benefit the Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund.
