The Tonto Rim Sports Club has scheduled its 3rd Annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 7 at the Jim Jones Shooting Range located south of Payson. The festivities are free to the public and include the opportunity to shoot different styles and calibers of firearms free of charge. Also, this is a great opportunity for children to learn the rules and safe handling of firearms. To reach the Jim Jones Shooting Range, take Highway 87 2.2 miles south of the casino (.3 miles south of Gibson Road), turn left (east) onto gravel road, then continue 1.5 miles to the entrance.
