Would you like a beautiful piece of handcrafted furniture on which to display your prized fishing poles? This display stand was built by the advanced wood working students of Richard Alvarez at Payson High School for the special events at the Optimist Fishing Festival, which will start at 8 a.m., Saturday, March 28 at Green Valley Park. This is just one of the many items the community’s businesses and residents have donated for the silent auction and other festivities planned. The display case can be seen at National Bank for closer inspection.
