Tonto Natural Bridge State Park will once again open to visitors on Memorial Day weekend, as the result of an agreement between the state parks system and Payson. After months of pressure and negotiation, the state parks board agreed to reopen the park, that draws 90,000 visitors annually, during construction work on the decaying, historic lodge.
