The Longhorn Cross Country team came to the end of its 2009 trail at the Cave Creek Golf Course this weekend. In a field of 17 teams, the girls finished in ninth place, while the boys were in 15th place when all was said and done. Participating for the boys were Jamie Wadington (top); Tanner Hodges (above left); Aman Sharma, left and Michael Scott, right (above right). Chuck Yale, who has assisted coach Jonathan Ball all season, said the team probably had its best race last week at Alchesay. He said they ran that race very hard to get to the state contest this weekend
