Visit Pine for pancakes, Tonto Village for barbecue and take a tour around the Rim for old-fashioned fun in both communities for the Labor Day weekend. There is a craft fair in Pine and fire district fund-raisers planned in Tonto Village and Beaver

The Time Out Thrift Shop, on the corner of Beeline Highway and West Wade Lane, will have a bag sale Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Thursday, Sept. 3. Stop in and see the great bargains available and help fund the area’s only shelter for victims of abuse and its many special programs.
