The annual Justice McNeeley Quad Run takes place Saturday, Oct. 10. The day starts with breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Rimside Grill in Pine. The Poker Quad Run begins at 10 a.m.

Chilly mornings signal changing seasons
Whew, we sure are heading into fall with some nippy mornings. The temperature this week has been in the cool, lower 40s. I’ve noticed a few leaves starting to turn, too. Thank goodness for the sunny afternoons — they make the transition a little easier, don’t they?
