Longhorn quarterback Wade Hunsaker will be under center this evening when Payson plays host to the St. Johns Redskins in the season opener for both teams. Hunsaker is shown in action in last week’s scrimmage against Camp Verde.

Around the state, scribes, armchair quarterbacks, fans and football junkies are calling tonight’s Payson vs. St. Johns non-region clash a toss-up, mostly because both teams are relatively unknowns this season.
