The Business Showcase is a place for businesses to display their products and services. Every year, hundreds of prospective clients stream past booths sampling products, picking up information and entering raffles. In 2008, (above) the showcase was held at the casino.
The Rim Country Rotary-Payson selected Cliff Lopez as its Student of the Month. He was given a certificate and $50. Cliff was chosen from the Construction Trades Program at Payson High School. He works at the Rim Golf Club and plans to attend Pima Medical School where he will learn to become an X-ray technician. Sorting items before they go into hygiene and baby kits are Camryn Faust, Emily Giarrizzo, Abby Hazelo and Kylie Chapin. The kits consist of a hand towel, washcloth, comb, nail clipper, a bar of soap, a toothbrush, and six Band-Aids. Frontier Elementary School was involved in organizing and putting together the packages for Haiti.

Chase Walden gets an opportunity for what looks like an easy shot, but was actually blocked by a Snowflake Lobo. Walden was fouled and scored anyway.
Tanner Hodges (front) and Jonathon Waddington get off to a terrific start at the Payson High National Honor Society Community Charity Race, which helped local food bank coffers add 201 pounds of food and $60. The event was conducted Saturday, Jan. 30 and drew 44 runners. Hodges won the race and Jacquelyn Oesterblad was the first female finisher.
Ever Figueroa drives to the basket for a layup as two Snowflake Lobos attempt to block his shot. Figueroa was fouled on this attempt and made two points from the free-throw line in a victory against Snowflake, 67-56, Friday, Jan. 29 in Wilson Dome.
