Jace Lupe, 30, and Cornelius Rockwell, 5, of the Alchesay Falcons fight for a rebound against the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets during explosive action as the second half of a ball exchange battle raged on throughout the play-off game. Alchesay won the afternoon contest.

Horns lose heartbreakers
The first round of regional playoffs Feb. 9 saw both Longhorn teams lose heartbreakers. The girls lost to Blue Ridge by one, 33-34, and the boys lost to Alchesay 57-62.
