Instructor Ines Kuperberg explains the next exercise movement. The prenatal water workout will continue at the Tonto Apache Gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7 p.m., beginning today, July 27. Local OB GYN, Dr. Cynthia Booth says, ”I am a huge advocate for getting pregnant women in the water. Water exercise is ideal for pregnant women — it is low-impact and the water’s buoyancy helps prevent injury. For women in the late trimester, that same buoyancy relieves back and pelvic aches and pains — plus, you get a great workout without getting overheated.”
