The Rim Country Optimist Club will host the annual Kids Fishing Festival Saturday, March 27 at Green Valley Park, starting at 8 a.m. The festival is for kids of all ages and even for those who don’t enjoy fishing. There will be raffles and a silent auction, food, fun and more throughout the day.

Due to the extremely wet winter weather the Tonto National Forest has received this year, a decision has been made to postpone the dead down personal use fuel wood and other forest product permit sales until Monday, April 12.
