The Rim Country Museum in Green Valley Park offers insight into the pioneering spirit of the first settlers in the area. A statue honoring the firefighters who lost their lives during the Dude Fire stands outside the museum (photo at left). One of the Rim Country Museum displays features memorabilia from the World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo, which is held every August in Payson (photo above).
