Laura McCoy and John Stanton brought this quilt sewn by Laura’s grandmother from scraps of childhood clothing. The council declared November Quilt Month to help promote the Nov. 11-14 Quilt Roundup at the Mazatzal Casino. The event usually brings about 1,300 quilters to Rim Country, which already has some of the best known and respected quilters in the country.
