This is the second place winner in the Best Sports Photograph category in the Arizona Newspaper Association Contest. The Payson Roundup walked away in fine style again this year, making it the twelfth year in a row as the best non-daily newspaper in Arizona. Natalie Black collides with the St. Johns’ shortstop as she slides safely into second base during the third inning at the Payson softball field. The Lady Longhorns won 9-4.

The Arizona Newspaper Association on Saturday declared the Payson Roundup the best non-daily newspaper in Arizona – for the 12th year in a row.
