Photo detail

Aimes came in to the shelter in May. He was shaking in fear, and so thin his ribs were showing. He was so dirty, the shelter staff didn’t know he had a white coat until after they gave him a bath. With time and TLC, Aimes has blossomed to become a great pet who is house-trained and good with other dogs and children. Invite some positive change into your life and adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Central Arizona.

Animals need time to adjust to change

Here at the Humane Society of Central Arizona, we experience change on a daily basis. The change we see here, though, is positive. It sometimes is not something we notice until a few months have passed; it’s slow change.
