Get out to Green Valley Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18 for some free fishing — rods and bait provided — meet professional bass fishermen and get autographs, check out products and supplies at fishing and other vendor booths, then enjoy a concert.

The Federal Highway Administration Central Federal Lands Highway Division is hosting an open house at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Julia Randall Elementary School, 909 W. Main St., Payson to discuss a proposed multi-bridge replacement/rehabilitation project along Control Road in the Tonto National Forest, north of Payson.
