ADOT crews diligently scoop up as much sand and mud as possible as they clean up the mess left by the recent mudslide on Highway 188 at milepost 254. The road was closed until 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23.

A cloud burst Wednesday deposited a six-foot-deep layer of debris on Highway 188, blocking access to Roosevelt Lake for most of the day.
